That doesn't answer the question.. Did you uncomment that line?

It always tells me "wrong password" |
Are you logging in with your vBulletin account or your Wordpress account?

If you have enabled the bridge, you need to login with a vbulletin account, providing you read the directions and mapped users first. If you did not map users, then you need to add the comment back to that line, log into wordpress, map users, then uncomment the line again.

You have to enable it in the vbbridge settings.

Hi!
I have a similar problem with the version 10.0.9 of the plugin. I've installed it on wp 3.3.1, and when I try to enable the plugin I get the following error: Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function 'vbb_user_has_cap' not found or invalid function name in /home/********/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 170 in the administrator area You do not have permission to access this pageI get this with the line #define('USE_ADMINCP_BRIDGE', true); COMMENTED. If I try the same steps with de line define('USE_ADMINCP_BRIDGE', true); UNCOMMENTED, I just get this error: You do not have permission to access this pageIn any case, I cannot map the users, nor edit the plugin settings, because I can't browse the admin area anymore, so I have to disable the plugin from the Database. I have the same username and password for WP and for VB. My VB version is 4.1.9, and my PHP version is 5.3.6. Anyone can help me, please? Thanks in advance! :) |
This product is not meant to work with vbulletin 4.x. If it has in the past it was purely by accident.
|
Ok, thanks.
Anyway, anyone know which version of vb 4.x works with, even by chance? Thanks again. |

There was a bug in the last version of the bridge that may have affected new installs.. It has been addressed, so it may now work with vb 4.x again.

Thanks, but it doesn't work for me. When I enable the plugin, I get the following error message:
Warning: include_once(./global.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/vbbridge/vbloader.php on line 16However, I can keep browsing the Admin Site (although seeing the same error message every time), so I can configure the Vbridge Settings correctly. Then, when I go to the Vbridge User Settings page, I can't map the users because of the following error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function query_read() on a non-object in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/vbbridge/vbbridge.php on line 435Moreover, the public site is not displaying completely, due to the following message: Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first() on a non-object in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/vbbridge/vbbridge.php on line 773Any idea? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? I install wordpress (3.3.1), then vb (4.1.9), and finally the vbridge plugin on the wp-content/plugins folder of wordpress. Thanks in advance!! |
I've just tried the same with vbulletin 3.8.7 and I get the same error message...
|
You need to disable error messages in your php,ini file as you should ALWAYS do on a production server. The second error is because you got your path wrong.
|
Yeah, I have it! Vb 4.1.10 working with wp 3.3.1.
You're right, I'd missed the '/' at the beginning of the path ¬¬. I'd tried so many things before (and so many combinations of vb, wp and plugin versions) that I hadn't seen it. Thanks a lot :) |
