install error latest version

Hello I get the following message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /homepages/44/d280471886/htdocs/gamersdomain/wp-content/plugins/vbbridge/vbbridge.php on line 47

I can get the old version to work no problem.

This will not work with that version. This requires at least PHP 5.3.x. PHP 4 is no longer secure nor supported.
